colling a gamecube

It turns out my GCp is too big for my case. I was wondering if i desperately need the metal olling system that is one top of the cpu. if not, it would make my system a lot smaller. BTW, i still have a working fan.

Please help!!!

yes you need the heatsink, and im not sure about the fan though. i have played my cube out of its case with a heatsink but no fan for awhile but not to long

i guess i'll just have do deal with a little extra space. I know, i'll cut more out of the back of the case and let more of the disc drive stick out.

umm........crap......*forgot to put fan or a heatsink in my gcp!* Oh well, it's not dead yet!

All i got to do is sell it b4 it breaks, then it's their problem (the sucker who buys it....hehehehe) j/k...but i have space to put one in...i think i'll go do that.....

I wouldn't run it without the fan, my GC shuts down after like 5 minutes when it's out of the case w/o the fan
