I'm currenting making genius portable I just finished making it rune soly on batteries so I went to test it to make sure everything's running fine I put a game turn it on and its only working on blk/white then it blurs out after about 10 seconds what could be wrong with I havent made any major modifcatons to it yet....

Is this hooked up to a TV? or a portable screen? If its a portable screen make sure all the connections are secure and everythings in the right place (Video to video, Audio to Audio) and ground it. If its on a TV make sure its not a Black and White TV

its hooked up to a tv for now and no its not a blk and white tv lol is there any chance that the voltage is to low?

9 volts or 8 AA's 2 are dead im just using them to complete curcuit in battery pack so really only 6

The extra 2 AA's might have something to do with it. Why not just short the extra pins out?

I would be the way the wires run though the battery pack it would wreck the battery pack if i did....
