GP2x Firmware 1.40 is out!

Post by minkster »

Eh, there is no english changelog so I can't tell you what is new about it. I think I'll wait for others to upgrade it and see how they like it :D They have the firmware here for anyone of you GP2x users.

from what i have read it fixes video playback (after they broke it) some crap to the ebook reader (reverse color and fonts yay...) it makes it boot slower, there is STILL NO SOURCE CODE! it sucks in general, im gettin tired of gphs stuff. im sticking with 1.21 till there is source and we get some decent homebrewed OS

Homebrewed OS's would be quite interesting. By the way, Triton have you every tried using madplaygp2x? I've been dying to use it, but all I get is like a black screen. Its supposed to play music while your playing games and stuff. Eh, I guess I should pm this, but just wondering if you got it to work.

I guess I should really pm this stuff :P

its fw 1.4 modded to boot fast, read only and some othe wonky stuff but fast boot, im still a 1.2.1 and staying there till they quit breaking stuff when they "fix" other things, or when there is a good community one with enabled usb host
