Alternate points?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Alternate points?

Post by demonofaj »

On the PSONE screen (official), are there any alternate points to input ground? My front panel prong thing is REALLY messed up. On the backside, with the three pins you can alternately solder to, where's the ground for that, if it's the front part, any alternats?

Do you mean the pins for the power jack? The two solder points on the sides are ground, the last one in the middle is +7.5vdc.
You can solder your ground wires to pretty much anywhere there's a large open ground plane.

That was quick, and I meant for Video/Audio. This all applies only to Video/Audio grounds. Any points?

they all have ground in there name dont they  so connecting one ground means you dont need to connect any others. this means if you have the system and the screen even connected to the same battery you are fine. or at least all my projects are
