Questions about the Slim PS2

Okay, so if I ever get the money to do so, (not likely) I'd like to build a PS2 portable. This baby's gonna have it all. Modchip, built-in 100GB laptop hard drive, built-in WiFi (ooooh yeeah...) landscape design, 10,000 mAh (or maybe even 22,000 mAh) NiMh D batteries... I'm hookin' it up. But, I need to know a few things first.

1. How much current does it draw? (I know it takes 8.5 volts.)
2. How large is the motherboard? (All three dimensions, please.)
3. Is Sarah Lee bread not the most AWESOME bread you've ever had? Or is it just me?

You do know that there is only one way to attach a HDD to the slim ps2, right?

actually you can use the usb port with usbextreme all he would have to do is get a mini IDE to usb converter and he would be good to go.

I was afraid something like this was going to happen. Don't worry about what I already have figured out. I fully intend on soldering the IDE cable to the PS2 motherboard. I've seen that site, and already have it set in my mind that that's what I'm going to do. Don't worry, I have past soldering experiance, much of it.

A usb hard drive would be too slow, as I am also going to rip my games to the hard drive to eliminate most load times, and cut down on the number of things I have to drag along with me.

So anyway... mobo size, and current draw... anyone? Please? Oh, and the bread thing.

Keep in mund you cannot solder the IDE cable to later model PSTwos. Only v12 and v13 work (not v14-15).

the PSTwos draw different power depending on what model you have. v12 draws around 2.9 average and v14-15 draws a good bit less, around 2.5

Really... what about the v13? Same as the v12? And why can't I solder an ide cable on the later models? I'm just wondering... it's not like I don't trust you or anything. After all, you made an awesome PS2 portable yourself.
