Post by GamingRev »

Okay so I was in the store the other day and saw a plug and play system for the atari. But it wasnt some cheap fipoff, it acually said atari on it! IT WAS NOT A FLASH BACK SYSTEM. Anyway would this be a an Atari on a chip? If not then where could I get one?

For the love of....JEEZ, there's been a million posts about this. It's just a premade NOAC with Atari games preloaded on it...NOT A AOAC!

The only known Atari On a Chip kind of system that can handle cartridges is the Flashback 2. All the rest are NOACs (no you can't play Mario on them, as far as I know.)

To clear things up there are only two known Atari on a chip. One is the Atari Junior that was one chip, and the other is the Flashback 2. All others are either NOAC running ported games, or a custom chip running games the same way.

Really if you want an AOAC, I've seen one Game Crazy, and I blieve I saw them sold on Gamestop.com.

how many times have we discussed this? I'm sure I could find at least 3 other threads about this, probably much more
