250gb hard drive, they're about $90-110.
Check Newegg.com or Tigerdirect.com for parts.

We talking 3.2 GHZ super PC or a 2.0 GHZ PSOne, N64 and most normal games here?

Also how big is your buget? If you have atleast a grand get yourself a good souround sound card and speakers, can make music and gaming so much better.

Sound cards are over rated because most onboard sound is just as good, unless you are an artist who really needs a good one. Give me your price range, and ill make you one.

300Gb $70 hard drive from best buy.

Get a water cooled system, you can overclock it more.

You're all noobs! (Not really) Listen to me! (Really)
Now how much money do you have to spend? I'll set up a tweaked computer for you.

Do you fancy Newegg or NCIX?

yeah a price range would be nice. I mean if I knew what we were looking at, 2x 7800GTXs on SLI 2gigs of ram 500gb Hdd AthlonX2 60 CPU or 1 6600LE 512mb ram 100gb Hdd Athlon 64 CPU. the price difference is huge

Okay price range is..

Post by GamingRev »

Okay I dont exactly have a price range, I will spend whatever as long as it isnt like $2000.

I already Bought a Athlon XP processor+motherboard combo, (I cant find the link, but it was PC chips, with 64 bit support).

Thanks in advance!

Ps: As for the emulators, I want to do the regular PS1, N64, and all that have yet to come out. Aww man just imagine a PS2 one, woot!

Well PSOne and N64 roms are big so you will deffinatly want a big drive, 150 and 250 gb HDs are really cheep now so theres no reason not to get a big one.

There is a semi-functional gamecube emulator out there at the moment, some games can run sortof, a few games run fully and one can even run Bust-A-Move 3000 perfectly.
