My NES portable is done

Post by benheck »

...in case people haven't seen the main page. I built it by hand, though I can't really say how yet (though some of you probably know the reason).

But you're free to speculate! New portables coming soon!

Yay!!
I'm surprised you didn't use the router though, unless you have something better now that is. Anyways, it looks great, and you seem to have noticed the same oddity about a portable nes as I have.
And that is, What the heck is the point in having a portable smaller than the actually cartridges!!

Edit:
Oh yeah, I just watched the video, and I gotta say that portable castlevania would be great!
I'll try and put a design up of my nesp, but I'm not sure if I'm going to use a power joy or the real thing yet because I think I might have broken my power joy :(

Is the screen you used in the picture one of those portable XBOX screens?

Wow! Neat case, but it somehow looks cheaper than the other portable's Ben made. I notice there's some kind of velcro latch for the battery case, like I use.
I think that screen is the PSone screen that was modded to LED's.
I am really surprised that Ben didn't use the Super Joy III. Maybe that's what he's gonna use in the next NESp.
