Easy to find 3mm LEDs..............and......such...mabey?

Well i was wondering about somthing..... If any of you have ever seen radio shacks zip zap se cars.(small rc car) well they have LED lights in the body and i was wondering if they were 3mm? Also does anyone know any cheap electronics that would have the white 3mm led?

I bought every single part I needed (except wire) from Mouser.com. Switches, LEDs, resistors, etc. Awesome site. Need a credit card though.

would 10,000mcd leds be better than the 700-1000 mcd leds that the parts list tells to get on mouser.com?

Not neccesarily, the MCD doesn't determine how bright they are.

Look at the viewing angle on them. A 3000 MCD LED with a 30 degree viewing angle will put out just as many lumens as a 6000 MCD LED with a 15 degree angle.

The best place to get LED's is www.lsdiodes.com. They have lots of colors and they are REALLY cheap.
