Alright, at first I thought I had to solder the input/output to somewhere like G-Force's ondago (a.k.a the back of the gen. 3 where the ground stuff is). But today I read http://benheck.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=7846 and now I'm all confuzed about the 7805 regulator. Can someone tell me what I would plug into the input, output, and ground? And then would I use the Power ground still, or not use it?
Pretend the area that says 7805 is the gray/black area on the 7805 regulator.
All you have to do is throw anywhere from 7.2 volts to 32 volts onto the input voltage, and the negative/ground of the battery onto the ground of the 7805.
You only have to solder the output to a screen if the screen needs exactly 5 volts. Otherwise, just solder the amount of batteries the screen needs to the screen.
