A few of my favorites are:
The Imperial March(The Empire Strikes Back)
The Star Wars Theme Song(A New Hope)
Duel of the Fates(The Phantom Menace)
The Animorphs Theme Song(Animorphs T.V show)
Ride of the Rohirrim(The Return of the King)
Minas Morgul(Return of the King)
End Credits(Jurassic Park)
There's the ones that come to mind.

I like green days older stuff before american idiot (insomniac, dookie etc.). and a lot of stuff by the beatles and jimi hendrix. me and a guy at school performed a version of yesterday (beatles) at our elementary school "moving on ceremony" with me guitar and him on vocals.

Lol, nice picks, I enjoy most of those, except Minas Morgul would not be one of my top choices from the RotK soundtrack.
I listen to just about anything, but mainly classic rock. Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen, Harry Chapin, The Eagles, and The Beatles are all played pretty often. Other stuff I listen to includes Frank Sinatra, Trocadero, and soundtracks from the likes of Halo, Farscape, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Star Trek. I also think Classical music rocks.
As for a single favorite song, that's tough. I think I might go with Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve.

EDIT: D'oh! I almost forgot, need to add Queen to that list. Bohemian Rhapsody is another contender for favorite song.

He asked what your favorite song was, not ammount of genres you can list. And another thing, screw me cause I like jazz? screw you cause your ignorant. Im sure you dont like blues either. Aside from that which if you want to have a rebutle at me go for it in pm's only. Here are a couple fairly decent songs.

Coltrane - pretty much any/all of it
