Battery and misc. questions
Moderator: Moderators
If your question was why you cant find any 3000mA the answer is RadioShack seems to only make a set number and and ship them all at one time. So if you cant find them do one of two things; wait for the new shippments to come in or do as Jack said and by them off ebay.
And if this isnt the question your asking, please repeat it.

Re: Battery and misc. questions
The time it runs it dependent upon the capasity of the batteries, what ever the amperage is of the battery you'll be able to double it if you connect the batteries into two series and then connect them to form a paralle, this will double your voltage and amperage.jellywerker wrote:I was wondering how long my n64p will work on its batteries, it will have a psone screen, an n64, and an n64 controller running off of four nextel i700 4.8 volt batteries, I am not familiar with n64 voltage yet.
The mobo measures 6.3x5x0.5 inches. Also, I am wondering if the superpad has a pot-joystick like the sharkpad. Another question, is it possible to fit an n64p into a 7 x 5 x 1 3/4 inch tackle box, or if I will need a larger one. Note I am an excellent sauterer, so relocating things is no problem.

If you can get a hold of it you can immediantly tell if it uses pots or not. The ones with pots tend to go up, down, left and right much easer then any diaginal direction. I dont know the name of the 3rd party controller manufaturer. Chances are that every 3rd party maker uses pots. If your unsure I can try and describe mine. Its (best I can think) like a sausage, the portion for the d-pad and joy is larger then the other side (just a bit) and the C buttions are much bigger and the Z button is tiny and red (though my controller was gray). I really hope this helps you.

The thing is when you do the LED mod you replace the backlight with the LEDs. I cant see how picking between the two would make sence. I will note that the LED mod does consume about 1/2 the amount of energy the backlight does.

If you mean turn the leds on well you feed voltage to them in a simalar fashion the backlight was. If you look at doomportables under video mods you'll see directions to do the mod. Really there is nothing to switch on/off as when you kill the screen (power it off) so do the LEDs.
