I know i've been talking about making a portable for a while now and i keep changing my mind. But now i've dicided to make a GCp. I have most of the parts, and i just need to know how many volts does the 5" nintendo gamecube screen need. And, how long will a 12v battery with 3000mah power the Game cube for?
The screen would need 12 volts (if its the intec ones that snap on the gamecube) You would hook up the screen to the gamecube av port and power port and then use the power cable that comes off to power both to power it..together im guessing those suckers would last around an hour.

isn't that just wiring them in seires to increase the voltage. I think gannon used the old ps2 so it need 12v to power it. If i did that it would be giving the gc 24v. Way too much.
but if they're in series, they won't ive me more mah, is there a way to connect two 12v batteries in parrallel. This way i will get more play time out of the batteries.
Gamelver was just explaing how to make them in paralell although the picture showed series. So just take the positive leads from the batteries and connecnt them and do the same with the negative. You will be gatting the same voltage as if from one of the batteries but if they have the same mah double the life.
Where did you find a 12 volt RC battery? I've been into hobby cars and plane for the last few years and the only place you find 12 volts is a lead acid field battery or a custom "large cell" battery.
