I have an AU Optronics 2.5" LCD screen,
<a href="http://www.auo.com/"</a> similar to these two models: AO25DL01 & AO24CN02. It's code is A025CN03, and is from a broken HP printer, I believe the HP 2610xi, I figured that that would be perfect for the Sega Genesis. Also, does anyone know whether you can use the Madden 95/NHL Genesis Plug-and-play as a portable Geneisis? I have one and it is verry different, and is without any "rom chip"? Maybe someone can be of assistance? I will show pictures of the screen tomaro. (excuse terrible spelling)

Judging from the specs here, it doesn't use composite, RGB, or S-Video, so there is no worthwhile way to use it with a genesis. The consensus on the Maden '95 plug-n-play is that it is too difficult to convert over to take cartridges, and it's unsure if it is a GOAC anyway.
Your best bet is pick up a Radica and a Hip Gear screen.

You'd need a pretty fancy converter to hook up a kind of screen like that if it doesn't have any form of input on the board that the system can output. People have done it, I'm just not sure if it's worth the price and expense, your best bet is one of the Radicas, and some kind of other LCD, like a hipgear, PSOne, any other videogame LCD, or a portable TV, it's your choice...

Update
I've purchased my Radica Genesis, you can view the problems I have there http://benheck.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?p=130870#130870 or just click on the one that says "Help Wiring The Radica". Oh, does anyone want to attempt using this screen? Maybe someone can use my screen for their benefit.
