World of Warcraft...worth the price? AND MY METROID!!! L@@K!

Well a couple of my friends (a decent amount, too) have WoW, and I'm considering buying it as well. But is it worth paying $50 then $15 a month ($180/year)? Or should I suck it up and spend it on something else. (I don't have a job)

EDIT: Look at the pretty metroid I drew! It took me 2 days on account of me not being able to draw good.

This is (roughly) what I think a metroid should look like. It has 4 energy ball things, and 3 tentacles, so it makes sense that one is a central energy blob. And the vieny things from the tentacles to the bally things are to transfer the energy

i dont think its worth it. not that its a bad game at all but that its pritty enveloping like i know a hole famly thats addicted to that dam game its pritty funny how much that thing is taking over there lives.

Thats pretty good shading and an all around good drawing. Nice job.

WoW is pretty addictive, be warned. Although I tried it and couldn't stand it. It was very boring to my FPS-addicted mind.

The first time I tried it I hated it. The second and third times were ok, but I want to stay on one reliable server, which means switching to an official server versus a private (free) server.

I think i'll go for it. I can always quit.

no game is worth $180 a year if you have no job, it's just too much for a game

i'm sure it's a good game though, my cousins have it. BTW, nice metroid!

The bad thing about WoW is that you pay $15 to play one game. Live is half that and there are lots of games to choose from (Halo 2 being the best hands down

).

I've decided I'm getting it today. I counted my money in my room, and I have around $700. Not to mention whatever I have in some bank somewhere.

Im so conflicted. I already have people wanting me on 3 differnt servers. *whinge* I think I'm leaning towards the server that ym other freinds are on...I dunno which one. Maybe you could make a character there and we could play there.
