What does Ben mean when he says to "jump" the conn

Includes but not limited to: SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, PlayStation 1, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, Game Gear and I guess the Virtual Boy.

What does Ben mean when he says to "jump" the connection for the battery?

I think ..........THINK, it means to solder a piece of wire from one part to another point on the board.......think. :?:

Yep thats what "jump" usually means. But I can't really say what "jump the battery" means out of context.
