Well that's interesting, because I've seen some one drop a DS (first time), and it didn't shatter, but it verifiably ceased to work. And I also have friends who bore witness to the horrible tragedy that was a kid at one of the nearby airports who dropped a GC (was holding it by that little handle on the back), which preceded to break into quite a few pieces. Granted, it could have taken previous abuse, but it was still pretty brutal.cowsgoquack101 wrote:Oh and Super Mulletman what you said is false. I've dropped my DS and my GC at least 5 times a piece and my DS goes with me practically everywhere with me and hasn't been damaged except the top case.

Hey I have that original "Nintendo Power" magazine where the guy wrote in with a pic of the GBO. He went on saying how it had been in a burning building and he was able to find it after the fire went out. I think he said that the B or A button(s) got fused to the case, but the screen still worked. Thats pretty darn amazing!
Nintendo Power gave him a game and a new GBO for writing in, and just because they were nice. *sniff* It's such a sweet story.
<-- Except smiling.
I could scan in the page if somebody wants to see it.
Yup, on the brother-breaking thing.
