As is typical, most of the people on engadget seem to think its idiotic. Why don't they appreciate things like this? I guess they like their mass-produced expensive gadgets, and are too lazy to make things with their own hands.

I went on and defended the guy. All the people criticising him probably don't even know which end of a soldering iron to hold.
