I think I've seen that before...Anyways, I heard this pile of crap game was one of the things responsible for the "video game crash of 1983." D:

Haha, did they really dig that landfill up? I read somewhere that they crushed the carts so the place wouldn't be looted. :D

Wow. They've got some good music videos. 8)

I wonder where they got all those carts to use as props...

Someone should put a pic of Indiana Jones in a cave next to a pile of E.T carts on here.

I'm going out west this year (or so I think) and I'm going to look for them! *Indiana Jones theme*.

From what I've heard there's actually a parking lot there now.

They didn't just bury ET's, but a lot of Pac Mans, and other overproduced, undersold games as well. Also lots of prototypes and systems!

Someone could make a really good Indiana Jones parody with this.

Why not just e-mail atari? (Or are they bankrupt I don't remember) Or staff would be possible. Were did they burry the carts and go and dig them up. It would be cool to see thousands and thousand of carts burried.

Edit: shouldn't this be in the atari forum?

Thats a funny video. For a time I did think they did go and uncover the landfill but really you can buy E.T. carts for like 0.50 cents or less.

And this can be in Forum42 because it's Ben's thread and Ben can put what he wants where he wants... He is god here.

I know he's a god. But can't we just move it. It seems to fit in better on the atari forum.

Same with Pacman carts. You can get them off of amazon.com for $0.40.
