It does, but I'd have to make one for every game I bought. It's debatable. Any comments, suggestions, concerns about this before I convince myself to do it?

its not have you ever taken a look inside a snes cart like final fantasy3 it pretty much uses all of the given space so only some carts would fit in the newer case

Well in any other case I'd do it. It would be a system that could accept both normal and specialized cartridges (of course), but with my current setup I wouldn't be saving any space at all. SO for this SNESp, I'm going to opt NOT to. Maybe I'll do it on Super Mario or something just to see... :D

Okay on the topic of SNESp, I 'm having some problems :( . Instead of using tact switches and building a custom control board, I opted to use the original SNES control MB. So my questions are:
1. You can do this, right?
2. The brown, red, orange, yellow, and white wires... what ports on the SNES MB do they get soldered into? I know it's the same holes that you would solder a custom board into, but what order?

PS: Kurt, you've been talkin about a SNESp for a loooonnnggg time now. WHEN ARE YOU GONNA MAKE ONE???? I wanna see what it looks like! :D

I'm still waiting on my ini to arrive. It should be here within a week. I won't be done for a while, but I have it mostly planned out already.

Turbo i think u misunderstood. i dont need the IC specs. I'm talking about the colored wires on the back of the controller MB. Where do I solder these into the SNES MB??? (a diagram would be nice!)

Thats awesome, kurt! Do you have any pics of your case plans?

I have a 3d model of the parts I'm planning on using that's to scale. As for the actual case it's all in my mind. I hope it'll turn out 1337, I'm the first person on this site (I think) to make a fiberglass case.

As for the controller, I printed out the perfect post that isn't in the sticky but should be, and I'll get it right now...

Well kurt makin a fiberglass case sounds very daring, but well worth the effort if it all works out. Turbo thanks for the pinouts I wired the controller with them finally :D .

One more problem... where on the SNES controller board can I put the ground, seeing as I am using the original controller that has no visible ground spots. If someone can post a pic of the control MB with where a ground spot is/can be revealed, that would be nice! thanks. After this, I promise i will have pics up of my finished system as soon as Friday and as late as Sunday. :D
