So lets say I bought a JAMMA game...

So I was looking around, and I found a new little thing to think about. Those cartriges on ebay listed as JAMMA boards. They come for less than 20$, so I was suprised!

Then I realized, Crap! How was I suposed to use the dang thing?
But lo and behold, using the power of google (and a little bit of majik) I was able to find THIS!

So, I was immediatley suprised! I thought I'd need to make some kind of thing to play the game!


So my question is:
If I hacked up an old PC power supply for the voltages. I soldered switches to each of the buttons, and provided power to the pins. Then I could hook it up to a TV using RGB and it would work?

I made a JAMMA cab that is actually pretty nice. I used a 24" TV, so in theory, you could do it!

Umm, me posting in this thread has no real importance to you or anyone else, but I don't see why it would work because I'm to lazy to search, or for that matter end this sentence. Ha! I just did.

But back on topic I'm going to go out on a limb and say it will...

Yes, that would work fine. You could even use a PSone screen because it accepts RGB and C-Sync

Now, this is kinda lame, but I've never used RGB before.

In fact, I've only used S-Video Once, and that's cause I had to!

So, If I were to wire it up to a TV screen, Are there color coded lines like composite video, and what do I do with the line labeled "Video sync"?

Google an RGB to Composite Video Conversion Mod, or buy a converter.

You're in luck if you have a TV that takes in RGB/HD.
