Jumper pack

Can I take the jumper pack out of its case? I mean the plastic outer casing because I noticed that it is not quite as big as the shell. I'm trying to save space inside.

If you can get the screw driver to open it, yes. I havn't opened it yet and i'm not sure if it has a heatsink. If it does you should replace the heatsink, but other then that I have heard of people doing it with both the jumper pack and expansion pack.
I'd imagine right now you wish you were a cuttlefish...

Yes, it's a small circuit board. Jus tmake sure you plug it in the right way.

You have to be more careful with the expansion pack.
