So basically you're asking if committing insurance fraud is possible?

If you have to ask that question on an internet forum, you've already answered it yourself.
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.

How would you get a protection plan without buying the system at ebgames? The protection plan is for when you buy their stuff, not so they can insure you for breaking other companies' junk. Unless I am mistaken and you can buy separate protection plans for videogames that have had no connection with ebgames, that idea is impossible.

buy a new psp at ebgames, AND a broken one off of ebay. then return the broken one to EB and get ANOTHER new one, and sell that on ebay.

Doubt you'd actually be screwing sony. If anything, you'll be generating more profits for them as the insurance company will have to buy you a new one.

I really hate car insurance companies though - they like to try and screw you at every opportunity. At least my VW Baja Bug is now considered a "kit car" and therefore a lot cheaper to insure. When I first learned to drive, the car I had was given to me for free - the insurance was £500!
