Ripping Problems

Post by Unidentified Assilant »

I'm trying to rip a game off an official CD, it's WWF SmackDown! 2: Know Your Role PAL, but it's not ripping after 9%, any reason why?

Is your ripping program made to rip playstation formatted disks? If so, it could be copyright restrictions. Or maybe even a scratched disk. You never know with those things.

First either do a copy disc option on your burning program or you need something like Alcohol 120% to make a disc image.

Now as for why it's only going to 9%. Is the disc clean, and relitively scratch free? If you can't see your reflection in the read side of the disc you need to get it polished or resurfaced. That will likely alow you to read the disc then.

Hope this helps.
