Beats your design by a good 10 months.
I'm not really being serious about it being my idea alone, but it is funny how many people came out and said "That was MY idea!" after I did

I almost fit a hip gear screen, cartridge slot (it would slide down the back) , NOAC, and batterys, all that in one Duckhunt/Mario case. But I broke the dang hip gear, then stepped on the case, so that was the end of that.
It's pretty funny how all of us have the same idea. we're starting to think alike! AGH!
Looking good vb. Hope you can pull it off.

dont ask how, but mY original NES portable idea had the screen Inside the N64 cartrige. the ONLY reason I did'nt do that was that the video adjustment board didnt fit. I can see everything fitting inside the NES case, as you can get some really small stuff.
Using tact switches for a controller Instead of the original lets you make it fit around the other parts. The only thing it dosent give you is the standard feel.
Then getting the NOAC. My power player 3 Is: 1 5/16" and about 3 1/4". Those things can get pretty small.
Then the hip gear. that thing is small, as I was able to fit it inside the N64 cart. and a SNES cart.
So i bet you could do it, and glad to see It when it's done.

Making XNA Games in C#.
Ok, I hooked up the wires to the NES controller board. Is it like so?Or is it some other way?
If it's right I'll be testing tonight once I solder on everything again.
Code: Select all
WHI (WHI) = White
ORA (ORA) = Orange
RED (YEL) = Red
BRO (BRO) = Brown
YEL (RED) = YellowIf it's right I'll be testing tonight once I solder on everything again.
