I'm not sure the the Movie Player 2, the red one you linked, can be used for NDS games.
I know the M3 (Movie Player 3, silver) can be used, as well as the supercard.

Yes, you need to patch the Red Movie Advance with Chism's firmware v2. Then you need a PassMe. Just get one from Lynx's site. Google out those things, I don't want to link.gamemasterAS wrote:Ok thanks you guys. If anyone finds out if it is compatible with the red movie advance pm, email, AIM , or bring this thread back up froom the dead and mention it.

if i had this would i still nead a passme because in one picture it makes it look like it dosent.
edit: If you have FlashMe firmware modification on your console you don't need to use PassMe or its clones PassKey / MagicKey / SuperPass etc. In the above picture you can see that the console is lying flat on the table as there is no PassMe sticking out at the back.
but how hard is it to get the firmware or is it easy to find online

The first rule about passme's, you always need a passme.

This kid had to make a page and a half thread to find out things that could've easily been googled. I think WiFi and flashing are beyond him.

ofcourse that what its there for but before you do that you might want to talk to the wifi hack sceen. its still in its infancy. but i've sceen a DS gps on CF using google maps (manual updates). any ways you could port GTP to it if you first had it compleated ported to C++ then ported to the DS processor. Im pritty sure if marshal finished the game some one could optimise it and port it with little work (since most of the work is to make the game
) and it would be cool just to have a GTa spoof on a handheld other than the 300 dollar PsP.
