Er.... I read that as VW is the porn, was that right? I already knew VWs are porn though....

Unfortunatly, I wasn't on the M62 in my Bug, it was my old G-reg BMW 520 (the only thing the wheels would fit in!). Plus I certainly wouldn't do 100mph in the Bug, it's scary enough at 70! When you consider the suspension system was designed in the 1930's though....

This is what it used to look like when I was 18 years old:

It's currently hand-painted matt black but it's in the process of being stripped down and will be going back to that purple (Mk1 Escort purple) very soon.
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.

That thing is awesome! Forget Herby, that thing would leave it in the dust.

And "the pwn" is a way to say it owns.

I did once get the whole front end to lift up like Herbie! Was trying to get the 0-60 mph time and stomped the gas and the whole front lifted up as it took off! Not bad for a 1500cc engine, although it had twin carbs on. Main reason was because the front end is so light.

Had quite a few "Herbie moments". Once I was driving along a country road and a dog ran out in front of me. I swerved, drove through a hedge, over a big pile of rubbish which launched me flying into a ploughed field! Only damage done was the front plate got bent!

BTW, purple cars don't mean the same thing in England like they do in America! I used to get loads of hate mail when I had my old website because of that. Now if it was pink and convertable THEN it would mean the same thing!

Don't bump threads unless you've got something to add!
