Ps2 power consumption

Post by Zzebotes13 »

can you power the new PS2 slimline with a 8.5v battery. If not, it's okay. Just wanted to know
I will always put 8) at the end of my posts

yes, though a higher battery might be better, since an 8.5V battery would slowly drop, and have too low of a voltage to run the PS2. A higher voltage battery would go down, but it wouldn't reach the minimum as quickly ;)
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Really it's suggested to go above the input voltage, but as Gamelver said "yes". The reason being is that when a battery gets a heavy draw (like the bootup) the voltage can drop and so the system will shut down or restart.
