N64 Power glove!

Post by sniper_spike »

While listening to my classical music (Mozart rocks!) I came upon a crazy idea, to create my own N64 controller glove thingy! *gasp* I've already gotten the main idea down, basically just to use some aluminum tape for the contact plates\buttons (That should work for replacing the photodiodes on the analog stick too right?) I remembered someone created a NES glove or something like that, can someone point me in the right direction, just for a good reference?

I didn't mean the original of course, someone made one out of a rubber glove and aluminum foil.

That's not what the latest Pure Pwnage episode suggested!

Someone made an Atari 2600 controller out of a rubber glove. Found that on AtariAge.

Wow, I guess that guy didn't care for making it look flashy.

If you could figure out how to use a D-pad in place of the pots you could just use the original power glove! (or even a Playstation controller, anything!) I tried and failed (I think theres a link to it in the sticky), but you might be able to get it to work.

I was contemplating about using a controller with pots, but I think an official controller (photodiodes) might be a bit easier.
