I think there should be different endings leading to the creation of a different portable, and possibly a one game emulator you could play on the portable when it's built. As for which portables to build, I say leave it to the 4 systems Ben started with... NOAC, SNES, Atari, PSOne! Of course, this would create more stress on the programmer and I'm not sure Marshall wants to put up with that...

It seems some people like the idea of a certain part results in a different portable. Perhaps you could have it like some other games (like Diablo) where if the item has a certain attribute, it's named differently and goes for a different price.
You could have a store "A" that sells a 500 mAh battery and store "B" that sells a 6000 mAh battery, and the resulting name would be (for example):
A: 5" Superior SNESp of little charge.
B: 5" Superior SNESp of infinite charge.
Just something to think about. It would probably make for a more interesting game and increase the replay value significantly (in that everybody would want to try to buy ALL of the items to see what combinations produced the most comical names!
) I'm assuming this game will have a bunch of "Ben" style humour. It should.

Hey, sup?
I say we make a different game sequence ending in a different portable's creation. I say maybe 3-4 but no crazy number (like 8
) And maybe run an emulator of one of the more popular games of the system. That way you could "Play" the completed portable... I suggest programming in the "core" portables, meaning the first ones Ben (oh wait, Cennars here) Bean
created... Also, these are the ones with the most readily available emulators, and due to the simple graphics, they would probably need less memory...
Course, these are all just suggetions...

And blatently obvious advertising segments. Like in a cut-scene he's wearing his normal clothes, it goes to another character and back to him, and he's got a pepsi shirt, hat, tie, etc. and waving around a pepsi flag.
Please take my diablo idea into consideration though, I think it would be cool to have something like that.
