The beyond enters videogaming!
Sorry for the ebay link, but I don't want to go search up a homepage or something for this:
Videogame that reads your mind!
Scary huh?

Hey, sup?
Do with requirments of only a 486 I'm thinking that thing is like the Atari mind-whatever. And the Atari item had you move your eyebrows to control the pong pattles.
Really I've seen that they've experimented with thought control, but the most I saw was a pilot in a simulator controlling the right-left direntions. I think by the time PS9 is out we'll have these mind controls.

When you think about it, aren't all video games thought controlled?
you have to think about the game and your brain makes your hands operate the conteroller!

Hey, I saw one of those at Comp [Crap] USA back in like '94. They had it on display with some kind of skiing game. It was fun; you stuck you pointer finger in this slot and made contact with a small metal plate and, apparently, you could control the direction by thinkning "left" or "right." Neat concept, but a doomed product.

The whole background story to the device sounds like something out of a James Bond movie. There is absolutely nothing fantastic or extraordinary about this device that I can see, though I'm not sure exactly how it detects the electromagnetic patterns in your brain. You would simply need to think angry thoughts, take a 'snapshot' of the electrical activity in your brain and set it as UP or DOWN, A, B, etc, in the console, and repeat for each button command using the most distinct thoughts/feelings you can come up with.
I'm rambling at the moment.

Looks like a Galvanic Skin Response Sensor
