so basically i can connect the screen using the pins in which the av cords usually connect to, and moding the screen so it has 5v and it will work on my sony, but if i want RGB (better quality) it will be green screen??

What type is the threee cords red yellow white (is it a composite connection)

the yellow is composite red right audio white left audio

this is considered a composite connection isn't it? what will the quality be like and will i have this green screen problem hooking it up using the pins on the psone lcd controller

Composite is just fine. You won't have a green tint or anything. It's what you use when you plug a N64 into a TV. It's not quite as good as RGB, but still pretty good.

so basically if i had tried to go the hard way about it and have better quality picture using RGB then i would have the green screen problem??

yes you would it may be better looking but I dont think its worth it
