Any difference between AUS/USA PS1 screens?

If you're making a portable you probably need something to watch it on. (Unless you want to guess what's happening in the game, but I wouldn't advise that) Anyway, this forum is your "Hacking a pocket TV/screen" one-stop solution. Share your experiences and knowledge here.

Any difference between AUS/USA PS1 screens?

I'm wondering if I should just try to find one on eBay that ships worldwide...

It seems Australia uses PAL, so you'll want a European PSOne screen. America uses NTSC.

To answer your question: Yes there is.
PAL runs at 50hz, and NTSC runs at 60hz. It makes a difference (10 more cycles/second)

But I suppose it you were to buy ALL ntsc parts or ALL pal parts it wouldnt make a difference if you werent concerned about inputting/outputting anything to external sources.
Hey, sup?
