^ thats untrue. Some HDs just don't work in a PS2. If you mean you can use any drive as in they all fit in than yes, but only some will be read by the PS2.

Right click on the floppy drive (once a floppy disk is inserted).
Select format
There is an option towards the bottem of the window that will say something like "Make Windws boot disk", Select
Press OK

Presto you have an NT boot disk.

I cant find the proper on Bootdisk.com and it wont let me do it from the OS.

Try here, and I'm sure someone that's running Windows right now can help you with making it that way.

P.S. You do know you'll need to use Rawwrite.exe to mount the images to a floppy right? If not do a simple google search to download it.

Once again, you can magnet the harddrive to wipe ALL of the data including partitions, it is 100% safe and 100% reliable. I've done it for 2 of my Xbox HDDs already

NO, YOU HAVE NOT DONE IT TWICE

the magnetic field strength on the platters would be around 0.2-0.5 TESLA,
to give you some idea of scale a hospital MRI scanner will use around 0.2-4 Tesla

now, add to the fact that the case of the hard drive probably will intefere and shield the platters from magnetic flux, you'd need a commercial degausser or a Magnetic Resonance Image scanner from your local hospital to delete a hard drive

if you still dont believe me, go, get an old audio tape,
get a fairly strong magnet, and rub it on the tape,
does the tape still play?, you'll find that 95% of the time it still does

A normal household magnet will not do anything to a hard drive. I have always used magnetic tools while working on computers. If the magnetism of my screwdriver was enough to erase a hard drive I would have other problems like getting it unstuck from the case.
