No seriously, all you can do with those pieces of crap is play them and hide them away in a closet so no one knows you have them... save yourself for the embarresment! (I have one too...)

The playstation is useful unless your smashing it. The second version is the one you want to portibalize. Oh and secondly don't post so much, just use the edit button. That's why it's there.

Why do people have to use exclamation points? I mean we can read and notice things.

If you want to make a portable, you'd be better off dropping the 30 bucks for a PSone (the newer smaller one.) It only needs one voltage input (7.2v), and the board is smaller and uses less power.

You could always do a case swap, or a disc cover swap on it. There's kits avalible online.

Well with a budget of $60 you can get the PSone w/ Screen combo from Gamestop or EBgames.

If you don't have a soldering iron, wire, solder, or any other basic things like that then you might want to look at something you can get for a little less.

And as for the PSX there is one thing you can use from it; the CD-rom. Other then that the old PSX is too big, voltage requirements are too complex and needs too much current.

Hmmm...I, personally, think it'd be cool to make a PSX Classic handheld with one of those ancient gray Gameshark boxes frankensteined into it, and have a hookup on the back for the Serial connection (Memory dumping), it's what I use mine for. (I know, it's completely useless, but it's still fun.)

Sure, it might be big, but it can't be any bigger than an XBOX portable. (Or an XBOX360 portable. I'd REALLY like to see that.)

(EDIT: Obviously, I'm no William Shakespeare.)
