NES PC - Status Thread

Ok i will put all the updates on my NES PC in this thread like what hardware and a description of the parts and construction photos and other Misc. Stuff.

Well this is what i have so far and what i paid for it, price is w/o shipping:

Via Epia M10000 Motherboard - $151
80Gb Laptop Hdd* - $114.99
Dvd Burner/CD Burner Combo Drive - $119.99~
DC-DC PW200 PSU - $49
AC-DC 12 V, 9A Switching Power Adapter - $36.95
PQI 1Gb PC2100 Ram - $74.33
AND A NES - $20 for two

*Hdd is like the one i got not for sure what model or anything*
~Now $103~

What I need:

Windows MCE 2005 - $129.95*
USB Modem - $23.99
MCE Remote and Wireless Keyboard - $89.99~
Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-150MCE LP, Low Profile PVR Card - $67.95

*Might get it another way
~Might buy seperate or not buy the keyboard.

How Much Money I have= $55

If anyone has anything that I Need and is willing to trade for it i would be interested.

You could just use a riser adapter instead of getting the low-profile card (if it's any cheaper)

Actually the Low Profile one is a little cheaper and i might still have to use the PCI Riser. And the Low Profile one will require less cutting on the case. Does anyone know of a really good sodering iron that is like $10-$15?

UPDATE: I have Windows XP MCE 2005 now, one of my family members had it and gave it to me. Sunday or Monday I will get 1GB of Ram in the mail and I am going to use a 3gb hdd to test MCE 2005 installation cd's. Then I will buy the Laptop Hdd connector so I can use my 80gb Hdd.

Sorry for posting in an old thread but i think its better than starting one. UPDATE: I will buy the Low Profile PVR Card within the week and the hdd connector soon after that and i have a logo for my nes pc that I CREATED and no one should use it unless authorized by me. Logo>

I know its not much but i have 3 professional Case Badges that were made with that logo on it (i.e. a custom case badge) and it has a sliver background.
