The actual Blockbuster store or like a gamestore attached to the blockbuster, owned by Blockbuster? (Like how we have Game Crazy here, it's attached to Hollywood Video and owned by them)

I know this is a stupid question, but seeing as I'm not british...

Please explain the slang for you currency. I undersatnd waht a pound is, but is a quid the same as a pound? Or is it some other crazy thing? and what is a "p". Becuase in Decline Christmas, Dim's contribution was 26p and a packet of m&m's, which was supposedly very little. If it was pounds that be like $50 CAD.

quid=pound, if you're too lazy to search or don't know how to use ctrl+F ;)...
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

That clears things up a bit. Dim contributed 26 pennies, not pounds. Thanks guys!

Think of it how you guys sometimes say 50 bucks instead of 50 Dollars - this is the British equivalent.
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.

Yes, but 'bucks' is slang, is 'quid' slang also?
