Stupid Classroom Videos

Im in Peer Mentoring and they show us a lot of Stupid Videos.

first was blood born pathogens, and STDS, we work with Elementary kids, i think doing it is last on thier minds

Now i had to watch a video telling us to encourage the little ones to start tucking in thier shirts, couse with an un tucked in shirt youn can hide weapons in your pants. on it they showed a kid who brought a whole armory to school in his pants (Even full length shotguns), i can just see the conversations between the kid and teachers

Teacher:Why you limping
kid: um
Teacher: Why?
kid:I have a ***** and it long
Teacher" M'kay

Ya I was in a class like that, but my favorite videos were my lifeguard training videos. When this one guy was doing the (typed phonetically because I dont know how to spell it) Hime-leck manuver it looked like he was doing something inappropriate to him. It was great.

Hey at least they don't make us watch Duck and Cover anymore.

You cna watch a lot of those old public domain videos on www.archive.org .

OMG, i remember watching Duck and Cover when i was in Kindergarten or 1st grade.

Nothing is worse then an autatorium of middle schoolers having to look at slides of people (and their body parts) infected with STDs. That was the longest 45 minutes of school I ever had.

And Baker (college) has a very cheesey movie they show all the first year students. Basicly its a student and teacher talking about how it's your responibily to be to class on time, no desturbe the class and being there is a privillege. Even the instructors have said its not that good (quality in camera and dialoge).

its a truely bizzare video, half puppets half animation and a seemingly rare thing

mine is the only school thats shown it in my town and ive never seen it since that one fatful health class
