Well in 3d MAX I'm making a model of my snesp. I have everything but the cartridge slot dimensions. Can somebody please measure theirs? (Width x Height x Depth, not just Width x Height)
Also, (I'm new at 3dmax) how would I go about warping the points on my PSOne screen's top so that it essentially mimicks the LED mod?

Cart Slot Dimensions
Hey, sup?
first of all, please call it 3ds max. they added the 's' in there after like version 3, it bothers me when people dont call it the right thing.
anyhow kurt, you could use a boolean subtract to chop pieces off of things. i can show you tomorrow. or look it up yourself. it isnt hard. go to where you go to start a standard primitive, but bring down the menu, and boolean is under.... something else. look around.
then, get two intersecting objects, select one, and apply a boolean too it. then in the boolean properties, go "pick operand B", and select the other object. if the subtraction is the reverse of what you want, theres a ckeckbox to invert it or something.
...use the help
(alternatively, you can right click on it, and convert it to an editable mesh. then mess around with it like that)
or else, ill get us a copy of solid edge, it is MUCH better for doing things like that. and MUCH easier.
