What should i get?

My parents are getting me a gift for my good grades and some other things ive done. So i was wondering wat should i get an xbox or a game cube. I no the xbox comes with 2 games and is more expensive and the game cube comes with one game but If i got a game cube i might be able to get more games. I think ill get an xbox but xbox really only has halo and gamecube really only has mario donkey kong zelda etc. so im not sure i think i like both equally.

You know, Halo isn't the Xbox's only good game.....there's KOTOR, Fable, Rainbow Six 3 (I personally like that one, although I haven't found time to play it lately

), Ghost Recon 2, which is on PS2 and Xbox, there's Project Gotham Racing 2, Burnout 3, and tons and tons of good games for it. Same thing for the GC, although most of it's good games are like metroid, mario, etc. There are still many other good games for it though. To decide on which one to buy, just check out which system has the games you want most or would be most interested.

I'd say if your into RPGs (massive ones) and FPS go with the Xbox it has perhaps the best of all those types. If you like Nintendo and other fun games well NGC would be your best shot.

Also something to consider, when (if possibly) you get tired of ther system you'll be able to make it handheld like Gamelver is doing with his NGC, that is if you get that.

Luxury! In my day you never got new systems for good grades, you got a "good work", or something like that...

Though seriously, get whatever you like best... what gamelvr said. I have gamecube, and it has good games, but now im thinking I should have got an xbox, since its so moddable. (Though I like voiding warrenties and the such. Over all, just go with what you like the most)

I think ill get an xbox hope fully halo edition and its not just for good grades its for completing my religous classes which lasted a year and a half. I know that xbox has more than halo i just didnt want to list them all. I think ill get an xbox though cause im pretty sure you get 2 months free live and i realy want to play halo on it.

Yep two free months, be sure its Halo2 as Halo only supported lan connetions (the closest thing to online play).

Yes im definetly getin the xbox. i just called best buy to see if they had the special halo edition they said no and they wont get any until after the holidays (damn i really wanted that) so im just gettin the regulaur xbox. but i decided that i want a regluar one anyways cause id be afraid to mess up the halo edition modding it.

is say xbox because most games on gamecube are everyone but i think aroud 80 percent of xbox games are mature...plus xbox has halo 1 and 2!

k i am a nintendo fan boy true... but this console war goes to xbox... buy an xbox... theres not much worth playing on the cube.
yeah it has swords and duble dash but thats it! not much else is fun fot it maby when the new zelda game comes out maby it would be a good idea but for now its got nothing to play... Also get a DS you will be so happy!
