Journey -VS- Foreigner!

Post by benheck »

OK maybe some, or a lot, of you might not even know who these bands are, but they were the bomb back in the 80's! They're kind of similar so...

In a fight to the death, who would win??? Or win the "Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny", per se.

Remember, Journey is probably the only band to ever have its own Atari 2600 game. Don't stop believin'!

Journey, for 2600ness....and because it has a "u" in its name. that's cool :P.
Without games my life would have no meaning.
Well, I guess it would, but it would be a lot less fun!!!!!!!

Well it Feels Like The First Time I've ever voted for Foreigner. I don't wanna feel At War With The World though.

Considering Journey had their own game for the Atari 2600, I'm very surprised Foreigner never felt the urge to Head Games Maybe they thought their fans would play it too much and end up with Double Vision perhaps? Still, it is a missed opportunity and it could've been some kinda Star Rider type game, or maybe something simple like a Girl On The Moon. Maybe some of the homebrew Atari game people could do a game? Oh come on, Say You Will!

Not wanting to sound Cold As Ice towards Journey, but I've never considered them as Juke Box Heros like Foreigner.

I wanted to go and see Foreigner play live once, but unfortunatly they were playing a Long Long Way From Home.

Sorry, this could go on all day!
I'm afraid The Damage Is Done AAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I've often found if people spend less time worrying about what someone the other side of the world has posted on an internet forum and more time getting laid, they'll be a lot less tense.

Sorry, I'll stop there.

This reminds me, you know what's fun? Trying to make the longest run-on sentence, or story, you can using the names of groups. Example:

A Foreigner decided to take a trip away from Europe, so he left Berlin in his Starship, making sure his Air Supply was sufficient for the Journey, and headed to America. Just over Boston the ship's Telsa coil (which runs off AC/DC) gave out, and the Bachman-Turner Overdrive failed also, so he had to bail out over Chicago, where he landed 3 Doors Down from the 1910 Fruitgum Company.

Go nuts. Extra points for using actual singer's names in the story as a link word. Example:

Celine Dion let Dan Hill Cher her tire iron, and when he used it his car's Axel Rose off the ground, Enya can't really beat that!

Hmmm...

Lucretius felt an urge to go to Kansas in The Cars with The Boys Next Door. He made a call to Talley Hall to order a bottle Nickleback wine to take, but it crossed his Mind he'd Be talking to Donnie Iris so he ordered two. He was just out The Doors(s) when he ran into Crosby Stills and Nash. Man can they talk up a Storm. He quickly passed them off to Cat Stevens and made his way Down the Road to The Shop. Going along he Met up with The Traveling Wilburys and they got to talking about America and The President(s) of the United States of America. Then he saw "Durufle Requiem, Mass Cum Jubilo" on his playlist and gave up this stupid story...

triton was walking down penny lane one fine day when he stumbled upon a flock of seagulls so him and john lennon began an ultimate battle of ultimate destiny and fought for a hard days night till the flock of seagulls were nothing but dust in the wind, then they jumped aboard the yellow submarine and headed off to an island in the sky where mean mr. mustard and polythene pam had strange brew(s) eight days a week! after that they came upon a crossroads where they met the who on the magic bus, they bought a ticket to ride and they were off on a magical mystery tour!
