I just saw Ben Heckendorn's PS2p (not trying to criticize or anything) and I noticed how big it is. It's not possible to get a PS2p any smaller is it? I understand this is a current generation system but with a "mini" PS2, they still look really cumbersome as a portable.
It might be possible, but extremely difficult.
Ben tries to build cases that are as small as possible... So he can't really make it any smaller than it is. If you read his documentary on it, he says he didn't need any supports - the parts fit so tightly together.
So it's not likely.
I thought the same thing until I actually saw a slim ps2 in person (it's about the size of a dvd box). A lot of other portables look bigger than they actually are (to me at least) so maybe it's a camera thing.

Heh heh heh I called my "super prototype snesp" the snesc, super nintendo cumbersome but yeah the ps2 is kind of bulky and what not... with the batteries and all.
