It is Ben's! He gave no credit to him! Ben could have that item pulled from ebay for copyright laws, if he doens't give credit to Ben.

I don't really think there is anything wrong he didn't give credit to Ben...I mean he did build it himself. And its not a problem if he never joined the boards either. In my opinion its just a dude who made a portable and want to profit money from making it. Nothing wrong with that

I really don't see a problem with it either. I mean, this is why the book was made right?

It would be nice to have a mention for Ben and the website, but I guess there's nothing we can really do about it. He probably didn't want to mention it because then people would realize it's technically not "one-of-a-kind" and you that you could build your own and not buy his.

I guess you guys are right...

I'm the builder of this unit and I put it for auction. After I read this thread, I figured I should give Ben credit. I changed the auction. After all, I could have never done it without ben.

Where does it mention him? I didn't see anything. And ease up you guys, he made it, not ben. He dosn't have to mention the book if he doesn't want to. IT might decrease the bidding to know that you can make on from a book.

Good job by the way! It looks very nice.

First Paragraph:
This is a custom handheld unit I constructed that I call the CherryBomb. The item was designed by portable video game hacking genius Benjamin Heckendorn. It is a fully functional NES handheld unit. Inside is an actual NES motherboard from from an original NES. The buttons are all original, from the NES controller. The screen is a 5" LCD screen with adjustable brightness. The picture is great as hopefully you can see in the photos.
