Conversion from NTSC to Pal-N ?

Hello people!
This is my first time on this forum and I hope I'm not in the wrong place posting this, excuse me if I am, please.

I'm planning on buying a little portable TV, and I'm having this offer at an ebay-like site in my country about a Casio TV-890B Ti -STN.

My problem is this TV is made for NTSC signals but in here public TV signals are Pal-N ones, so I'm wondering if there is any way to convert signals so I can use this TV in Uruguay.

If there is no conversor or thing I can do to make it work I'll be forever wondering why the seller bought those TV's in the USA and brought them here :lol:

It seems this is an electronics forum, and I know I'm not able to do any electronic stuff by myself, but any help will be considered of use and I'll be greatly thankful.

The simplest way would be to use a commecrial NTSC/PAL convertor box, but that is likely as big as or larger than the portable TV itself.

Adjusting the vertical sync would make it more compatible with PAL composite signals, but not entirely as there are some differences in the colorburst of PAL systems, I have no idea what putting a PAL colorburst into an NTSC TV would look like. The TV might recognize the PAL colorburst and adjust accordingly, but likely not.

Finally, there is the tuner. I don't know what the frenquency range of PAL TV channels are, or if they overlap NTSC channel frequency range. If they do overlap, most portable TVs scan the channel range instead of locking at a proper frequency, so it should beable to pick up the signal of any channels overlapping it's range.
