Well.. I dont have a desoldering iron. I have a sperate bulb and desoldering braid. Im trying to desolder stuff off my nes but neither are workign well. SO im planning on buying a desoldering iron from radio shack... But, then only sell 30watt irons, which i have, and 45 watt desoldering tips, which i need. Will a 45 watt tip work on my 30 watt iron. Or is the radio shack site lying and a iron is included: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index ... Id=2062731
What's in the box
* 1 x Desoldering Iron Tip
You'll also need
* 45-Watt Desoldering Iron (640-2060)
If not, there is also a "Desoldering vacuum". Ive never heard of these. Would that work instead. Thanks.

That comes with the iron.
I don't think those tips screw in like most of their irons, I know mine didn't. It slides in about 1.5'' and has a set screw.
On a side note I found out it fits in one of these:

That station sucks for soldering, but it works great as a digital temp controlled desoldering station. I have a nice Weller for soldering.
