Hi! I'm Epicenter. A couple friends of mine who frequent these forums recommended I register so .. here I am. The projects I've completed that I'm most known for are the MegaDrive/Genesis Overclocking project ( http://www.epicgaming.net/md_oc ) and the Ecco the Dolphin 2 Prototype Documentation (Under revamping, but presently at http://www.epicgaming.net/darksea/e2a/ .

I also have an NES overclocking project in the works, and do plan to start on an SMS, Sega Nomad and Game Gear overclocking project once I have machines to do so (unfortunately, no money to buy them right now.

)

So, that's just my introduction! I'm looking forward to hanging around here in the future. (But no Sega 8/16-bit exclusive forum? awww.) Oh well.

OK, if a Mod could move this to 42 then, that'd be great. I'll make a separate thread for the link to the MD OC guide for anyone who hadn't seen it.

Sorry, I'm the one who said that the 16 bit systems went in the SNES topic.

And this guy may be new to the forums, but is by no means new to Genesis modding. Please show a little more understanding. -_-

Say you werent the guy I saw on TSS that had an overclocked Genensis and they asked if you could overclock one before the end of that episode, would you?

Also Gannon might not get to upset as this is the unoffical off-topic forum, we used this for them before Ben added 42.

Yep, too bad it was a Model 2, they just grabbed one on short notice. Those are irritating. Not only does the solder resist layer make attaching wires difficult and the pins are smaller, but thanks to the combochip in the Model 2, frequencies above 10 MHz are usually horribly unstable. Hence my preference for-- nay, monogamy with, the Model 1.

Well that explains a fair amount of why you failed.

Say have you ever tried to overclock a Sega CD, same processor and stuff just courious.

I could but I'd need a machine to do this to. My only Sega CD isn't something I want to part with after the ungodly sum of cash I paid for it, if something goes wrong, and I don't own a CDX.
