This only works on some dreamcasts, as explained in the article, but is worth looking into, esp. since stock cooling works. ^^

On a seperate not, this guy's Atari is having problems. I think the clock speed is increasing, due to faster gameply, faster sound, and a rolling screen. When he turns it on, it gets progressively faster....maybe Ben could fix that. lol

The site I found for overclocking the Dreamcast showed that things like cars got smother, and the guy that overclocked the Playstation said the loading time went down. It offers things to move more fluidly,
