for one thing howbout some basic advice.

1.im a really sloppy solderer, i cant do it that well at all. tips?
2. need part recorces for stuff. just in general
3. anyone got a cheap ps1 mini there willing to sell?

here's another good link. read the entire site.go to the trading post for the PS0ne. search for places to get stuff. digikey.com and ebay are good. again i highly recomend ben's book

If you're a bad solderer, you should probably practice some before trying to solder connections on a circuit board. Especially since in some cases you need to solder to some things extremely small, and if you're over by 2-3 millimeters, you'll be touching another contact.

1. Practice on really crappy old things by soldering small wires from one tiny point to another. Basically, some old xbox controllers .

1. I'm not that good at soldering either, if in doubt just use the smallest soldering tip you can along with very thin solder and practice on some old/dead boards. My grandfather taught me how to solder using a gas-heated soldering iron so I'm much better at soldering things like large chunks of copper, car electricals etc.

2. Google perhaps? I discovered 3 mail order electronics specialists in the UK that I never even new existed.
