well my mom is going to goodwill sometime this weak and i was wondering if it is a big one...this one is humogus to you think it will have anyting game rlated so basicly should i go.

p.s. if you guys whant to you can list cool stuff you got there

Yes, Goodwill has video game stuff usually. They get in new things everyday, so sometimes the selection is better than others. Make sure to look through the music cd section also, they might have a few dreamcast or psone games in there.

multiple stereo recievers
cds tapes records (Mint Dark Side of the Moon including the two posters and stickers.)
Games (misc genesis, NES, pc)
etc...

goodwill is a goldmine.

i find stuff there all the time you can get any game thing if they take electronics plus it takes a keen eye to find the stuff sometimes
i found my saturn, some other common systems, uber complete nes games, game promo shirts, and i buy my ties for school there too
i went to florda and saw one so i stoped and got some sealed NES cart covers and some sege cd games

Almost any thrift store is a good place for "treasure hunting". Ususally the people running them have no idea what old electronics are worth so you can get boxed systems with games for under $20 or loose ones (especially genesis) for a buck or two. Sometimes it works the other way, I saw a boxed genesis 2 at one that they wanted $100 for because it was in a very mint box and had some games (crappy sports ones), but if you see something you want and think it is priced wrong, talk to someone behind the counter, they'll usually cut you a deal.

I picked up an NES and 10 or so boxed games for $40 at one in Socal, which is more than I would normally spend, but the games were FF1, all the Castlevanias and other "good" games.

If you could set up an ebay account, you can even make money off of video games you find in junk shops. (so you can spend more money on video games!)
