What should i get?

ok people i have a $20 gift certificate to amazon and i was thinking of buying either battlefield 1942 or battlefield 2. I could get BF1942 fully covered by the gift card and BF2 would cost me $30.
So which is better

BF2 is worth it, buy that, unless your computer is the suck, than get 1942.

i have a laptop and it over heats a lot
but BF2 looks really cool
can i get some more "reviews"
EDIT: i was watching some teaser videos on eb and i think im gonna get BF2
it looks so good
unless my laptop cant handle it

I can run it on a crap cheap ripoff celereon which i shoved either a 6200 or a 6600 into. dont remember which.
